Volunteers Needed!
The role of the adult leader is to lead prayer not teach religion. The leader is accompanying the children on their faith journey and listening to them share their experiences as they relate to the presence of God in their lives.
St. Isaac Jogues will provide the materials and resources to the leaders and there will be an introductory leader workshop.
All leaders will need to be Safe Environment certified. This can be done by contacting Jane Walter in the rectory [email protected]. If you are interested in volunteering as a leader please fill out the "adult leader sign up" form.**SIGN UPS FOR TEEN ASSISTANTS**We are also looking for teen assistants to help the leaders (7th grade - high school age) to maintain a prayerful atmosphere, lead the children in and out of the church, and to help monitor the liturgy in the church so the children return at the appropriate time. This will count a service hours toward Confirmation for the 7th and 8th graders. All high school age assistants will need to provide an Application Form for Minors Serving as Volunteers.

What is the Children's Liturgy of the Word?
The purpose of Children's Liturgy of the Word is to provide children with a liturgical experience that opens the hearts and minds of the children to God's Word. The Children's Liturgy of the Word is during the 9am Masses on Sundays.
Children who are 5-8 years old are invited to leave the church during the Liturgy of the Word and listen quietly and respond attentively to God's Word.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to help with the Children's Liturgy of the Word.
