The Knights of Columbus is a men's fraternal benefit society where social and intellectual fellowship is promoted. Membership is open to men ages 18 and up who are Catholics in good standing of the church and accepting of the authority of the Catholic Church and the Holy See.The St. Pier Giorgio Frassati Council was founded in 2026 at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church and today includes more than 180 members.
Known as the “Man of the Beatitudes,” St. Pier Giorgio Frassati united joyful faith, heroic charity, and love for the poor with an adventurous spirit. His motto, Verso l’Alto— “to the heights” — captures its vision: men after the heart of Christ, expressed in bold, active service.
The Knights serve SIJ parish and community through concrete acts of charity, providing meals to those in need, supporting efforts to house the homeless, and standing beside the vulnerable with compassion and dignity. The Knights strive to live out the Gospel in action—organizing service projects, supporting parish life, and building fraternity among our members. Inspired by Pier Giorgio Frassati, we commit ourselves to faith in action, seeking Christ in those they serve and growing together as men devoted to charity, unity, and brotherhood.
